Why does Radiance work?

We have received many testimonials from pet owners about the supplement Radiance. After their pets have taken the supplement, their coats look shiny and healthy. How does this happen? Why does Radiance work?

• Montmorillonite clay comes from weathered volcanic ash derived from an ancient seabed formation in Utah. The clay formed when a layer of ash fell into what was a shallow inland sea. Montmorillonite clay contains no less than 67 minerals, including vital trace minerals. Some of these allow the body to act as catalysts using other minerals. They are the bonding agents in and between your pet and its food.

Once the clay is inside the gastrointestinal tract it absorbs toxins such as heavy metals, allergens, free radicals, pesticides, pathogenic viruses and herbicides by attracting them to its surface area where they adhere like flies to sticky paper. Next it absorbs the toxins and allows the body to eliminate them through the excretion process.

• Kelp, a type of seaweed, contains the complete spectrum of minerals needed by our pets. It has minerals needed in large amounts, such as calcium, iron, phosphorus and potassium, as well as many trace minerals. One of the most important trace minerals in kelp is iodine, essential for the proper functioning of the thyroid gland. Kelp is said to be a remedy for liver congestion. For an animal to be bright and vital, the liver must be active and clean. Kelp supplies the liver with the salts it needs for normal function. It also helps to cleanse the colon. Kelp contains alginic acid, which combines with metallic elements in the intestines to form insoluble salts, that are then be excreted from the body.

• Stabilized fish oil concentrate contains EPA and DHA, omega-3 fatty acids. These are essential for health and are not manufactured by the body. They help to improve skin and coat and are helpful for most skin problems seen in our animals.

• Methionine, an essential amino acid, is a principle supplier of sulfur, which prevents disorders of the hair and skin. It helps reduce liver fat and protects the kidneys. Methionine regulates the formation of ammonia and creates ammonia-free urine, which reduces bladder irritation.
